Happy Baby

Matt was getting Marc ready for bed and was playing with him a little. He blew on his tummy and Marc absolutely loved it. He was full out laughing which was a first. They played like this for almost 10 min. It was so fun to watch my boys playing together!!!

Christmas

Well Marc really doesn't get the whole Christmas thing, but I think he likes his Santa gift. He got an activity center bouncy thing, tons of fun!!! He really can't sit up yet, so he sorta leans, but he was playing with the toys. Matt and I also were good and got some fun presents. We had a fun time with my family and enjoyed a slightly calmer Christmas day than last year.

Update on Marc

This post is for all our friends and family who don't get to see Marc very often.

Matt's mom gave Marc this play mat when he was born, and it is his favorite toy. Sometimes he gets his hand stuck in one of the rings, he used to start crying, but now he just moves his arms faster and his hand gets unstuck.

Marc loves to play with his dad and always gives him great smiles.

Marc is very smiley and happy most of the time.

Marc has started blowing bubbles, and is very slobbery. We love Marc very much and are very blessed to have him. We love all of you and wish you a Merry Christmas.

Nativity

We had some of our neighbors over for Family Home Evening last night. We acted out the nativity story and then decorated cookies. I thought that it was very fun and reminded me of being at home. I love the Christmas season and all the traditions that come with it. My family has lots of traditions that I am excited to carry on in our family. I think acting out the nativity is my most favorite tradition and I am glad we got to share it with our neighbors.

Bath Time

Marc loves to take baths. Today when I was bathing him he started kicking a swinging his arms like crazy. It is fun to see him growing up and being able to do more things.

Tree Hunting

Every year we go and get a Christmas tree in the mountains with my family. This is one of Matt's favorite things that we do as a family, so we made sure that we were back from Spokane in time to go with them. We went above Kelly Canyon to look for trees. We had never been there so we all went scouting on the 4-wheelers to find a good area. Marc fared well, although he slept for most of the event. We found some great trees and had tons of fun in the process. I think the highlight for Matt and the boys was 4-wheeling through a big muddy bogg that was full of huge ice chunks. There were a few close calls to getting stuck, and everyone came out muddy, but they had fun.

Just another note Alan hurt his foot running into a wall while rollerblading. All weekend we were telling him to tough it out and making him walk on it to be able to do things, like ride the 4-wheeler. Come to find out his foot is broken. Here's to the sympathetic family who likes inflicting pain upon children!!!!

Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving we went to Spokane so Matt could look at a college there and also to see some of his friends from pageant. The family was so nice to us and we had a great time with them. Marc did really well on the whole trip he slept most of the time in the car and endured being passed to many strange people. Our Thanksgiving dinner was delicious. There were 27 people at there house for dinner and we all sat at one table, it was quite a sight. I am thankful for the many blessings that I have in my life and I am grateful for this season to reflect upon them.
