I Guess It Is My Fault

Tonight after Marc had a bath I got his PJ's on and let him down to go see Matt. All I did was pick up a few toys and then I heard something unusual, splashing. I went into the bathroom to find this.....
I didn't let the water out of the tub, and I didn't close the doors to the bathroom so it is my fault. As angry as I wanted to be, I couldn't get mad because Marc is just so cute.

Marc thinks the strangest things are fun, but it's fine with me, cheap entertainment.

This is for you Alan.

My brother Alan asks me constantly to update my blog so here you go, a lot of Marc! Here is a quick baby update. Things are progressing and my doctor doesn't think that I will make it to my due date, so I am gearing up for the baby a bit sooner than I thought. I am glad he should be here early, I am certainly uncomfortable. Until then I will just get ready and chase a crazy little boy around! Hopefully the next post is about a new addition to our family.
Marc loves to help me cook. Usually it goes pretty well, but we have had a few mishaps. I am grateful he likes to help me and just hope it continues.

Marc had a popsicle so we sent him out to the deck to eat it. It melted and fell onto the deck and we looked out to see him eating it off of the deck. What do you do? Enjoy the silence and just let him do it.

Watch out little brother Marc is so ready to play with you. Marc will be a good helper but I will have to constantly watch him.
I went to a garage sale and this little toy was in a bin of free stuff so I grabbed it. I didn't know what it was or if it even worked, but it turns out it is an MP3 player and with new batteries it works great. Marc loves it and carries it around with him. His favorite song is If You're Happy and You Know It, so here is a video for you entertainment. His shirt is off because he just ate dinner.

Go Ahead Call Me Crazy

*** Just to let you all know. I was just in the right place at the right time to get the toothbrushes. I was in the clearance section in WalMart and a worker was trying to figure out how to display them. She said something about 2 cents and I asked her if she was serious. She asked how many I wanted and I kept saying I'll take more. After I had walked away I decided I should have gotten more but they were gone when I went back. So really it was nothing I did, just luck!!

I know it is not normal to have a pile of toothbrushes as large as this, but today I bought 90 toothbrushes. That is crazy I know, but I only spent $1.80 total. I could not pass up 2 cent for a toothbrush and I figure I can always donate them or give them as Christmas presents!!

A few days ago I saw this blessing dress and I just had to buy it. I know I am having a boy, but this dress is adorable and it was only $4. Maybe this will ensure that our next child is a girl!

While we are on the note of craziness. I went to get Marc out of bed this morning and found this (he did have pants on when he went to bed): He is certainly a crazy kid, but we love him!

Big Baby

I went to the doctor today and had an ultrasound so the doctor could see how big our little guy is. Well he is not so little. Based on his measurements he weighs 5 lbs 12 oz and is in the 95 percentile. This would put my due date around June 9, instead of June 24. So what this means is my doctor would love him to come at 38 weeks (June 10). She can't induce me till 39 weeks, but is pretty confident he will come before that (based on the fact that Marc was born at 38 weeks and was big also). So now I am trying to realize that I only have 5 weeks till he will be here instead of 7. The baby would not cooperate so we didn't get any good pictures of him during the ultrasound, but he did have the hiccups which was kinda funny to watch.

Marc just keeps on going. He is a funny boy, and certainly has a personality. He is usually good, but we have entered the realm of tantrums and he is very good at them. We are currently working on not screaming in church and not turning on the dishwasher every time you walk by it. Any suggestions? Yesterday I went to the bathroom and came out to find this... If you can't tell what this is, it is a chunk of frozen cookie dough which Marc pulled off the counter, opened, and chowed down on. He is a smart little cookie! This is what happens when you drink your yogurt instead of using a spoon, much more fun I know.
