Lovely Song

Tonight Marc said, "I am going to sing you a lovely song about babies.......(singing) I love you like a love song babe." For those of you who don't know this is a Salena Gomez song. My sister taught it to him over Christmas and he will randomly sing it.

When I was putting him to bed he said, "Close your eyes mom, I want to do something that I shouldn't do (pull all his blankets off his bed)."

He is a crazy boy, but we still love him!

Family Pictures

We had family pictures taken with my whole family, which is always an adventure. The picture of the whole family actually turned out pretty good, which was amazing. I really don't like me in the pictures, probably because John was only a week old, but I am glad that we could be there.

The grandkids picture was kinda a mess, but funny to watch. We didn't get a good one for some reason! I guess Grandma and Grandpa need more arms.

I don't love this picture, but it is our first family picture with John. Luke thinks it's a good one.

Fighting

Me: "Marc why is Luke crying?"
Marc: "We are just fighting."
Me: "Marc, you know that it is not ok to fight with your brother."
Marc: "Mom, that guy Captain Moroni in the Book of Mormon said it was ok to fight."

I guess he only listened to half of the story.

John

Well I realized as of last post John is still in the NICU, but he really isn't. He has been home for 2 weeks now and is doing great. He is growing and is more alert now. When ever he opens his eyes the boys get so excited. Here are a few pictures of him.

Balanced Rock

There is a very cool rock formation not to far from our house and we went and saw it this weekend. One draw back was that it was raining, but it was still neat and we will go back when it is nice so we can explore more. Marc loved it and wanted to keep on climbing higher and higher. Luke had the best seat ever and I stayed in the car with John so I watched them explore. It was a fun day and we love seeing all the wonderful creations around us.

Life

We are alive and doing well. The transition to three kids is going ok, but I know it will change every day! Marc and Luke are adjusting pretty well. They love to give John kisses, especially when I am trying to feed him. When Marc talks to John he uses a different baby talk voice and it is so funny what he says to him. He calls him his little buddy and tells him that he is nice. Luke will now say baby when prompted and it is his one of only a few words he will say, so I think it's wonderful! They are great big brothers and I love all my boys!

The weather was nice for a few days and the boys loved playing outside in the trees.

Marc never takes a nap anymore, but one day he fell asleep on Matt and they took a very uncomfortable nap together!

John Cannon Harris

It's official, our little man has a name. I have been able to hold him and spend more time with him, and I finally feel like he is mine. Little John has been in the NICU since a few hours after he was born. They aren't sure what's going on, but he was showing signs of an infection so he has been on antibiotics to catch whatever is going on inside of him. He has made great strides today and is off his IV and oxygen, which makes it so much easier to hold him. Tomorrow they will see where he is at and see what needs to be done. If he isn't showing anymore sign of being sick he will be able to leave! Here are a few more pictures of him.
