Happy Birthday to Me!

I had a great birthday, it's crazy as you get older a birthday is kinda just another day. I remember when I was younger I was so excited for that special day and it really felt different. Now things have changed, however we did do something fun for my birthday. We went to Old Town San Diego and went to the Mormon Battalion Museum. They have redone it, and it's so cool. Here is some of the fun we had.

Oh, and by the way I should make it blog official. We are expecting #3 in March! Things have gone really well this pregnancy, and I'm excited to move somewhere we can call home so I can get ready for the arrival!

Sea World

We were able to go to Sea World and it was awesome. We started out the day on the rides. Marc loved them and the parents weren't too sure about the spinny-up-and-down rides.
Next we got to go and see the dolphins and Marc even got to touch one. It was pretty cool.

We got to see some cool things in the tide pool. The kids loved putting their hands in, but didn't love touching the animals.

Marc was so excited to see Elmo and had so much fun talking to him.

Its kinda funny that we go to a cool place with dolphins and whales and the kids have more fun at the playground! We spent awhile at the splash pad and playground and the kids loved it!

We saw lots of other cool shows like the Shamu show, and a dolphin show the stuff the kids really didn't love, but the adults liked. All in all it was a great day at Sea World!

The Beach

We went to a playground on the bay which was perfect for the boys. We played for a while and then ventured to the water. It wasn't the best beach but the boys thought it was awesome. Luke is our little water lover and had a blast. Marc had fun throwing sand into the water and finding shells.

The Zoo

We had a great time at the zoo. The kids loved the animals, but the hit was the petting zoo where they got to play with the goats. Marc loved it, Luke wasn't so sure what was going on!

Fun in Phoenix

We had a great time visiting Jen, Isac, and Tyler in Phoenix. We went to an awesome park where the kids fed ducks, played on a huge playground, and rode some rides. We all had a blast!

Six Weeks

Staring in October our family will have six crazy and fun weeks. First I will fly with the boys to Arizona to see family. We will stay with Matt's sister Angela and her family for a few days then go and stay with my sister Jen, Isac, and Tyler for the rest of the week. Then we will all drive to San Diego where Matt is and have a little vacation fun. Then the boys and I will stay in San Diego with Matt for 5 weeks. Then we will fly back to Arizona to see Jen and her new baby, and finally my mom will fly home from helping Jen with us and we will be able to settle down for a few weeks till we move to Twin Falls. Sounds exhausting I know, but we are already half way through and doing great!

Neighborhood Fair

We went to a neighbor's house for a little fair. They had people bring stuff from their garden's to be judged and had fun little games for the kids to play. They also did face painting. Marc wanted a basketball and I was imagining a ball the size of Abby's but Marc's was a little bigger! Marc was so distraught when we had to wash his face. We had a fun time!

Birthday Boy

Marc turned 3 this year and I don't know where the time has gone. His party was very crazy. We ended up having it a nine at night because that is when everyone was home. I had big plans to make a cute cake, but ended up just putting frosting on a cake and calling it a basketball. We made a pinata which Marc loved and he starting eating as much candy as he could the second it broke. Matt was in California so he came to the party via Skype. Even though it was crazy I really don't think Marc cared at all. He loves his presents and had a good time.

Marc is a great boy and we are lucky to have him in our family. He is a very smart boy and knows what he wants in life. I hope he keeps this drive and uses it for good in life. He is a great big brother and Luke loves doing whatever Marc does. Marc is really good at singing and makes up funny songs all the time. He knows several Primary songs and loves to sing them. He is very good at coloring and will actually sit still long enough to color. Marc says funny things all the time and we love having him around!

Tater Tot Trot

Marc and Abby ran a race in Shelley called the Tater Tot Trot. It was fun to go and see them both run. Abby is way competitive and did awesome. She took second by a few steps and ran her guts out.

Marc didn't have a clue what was going on and had run miles before his race even started! He had to go 3/4 of the track and was in the 4 and under age group. So as a 2 year old he did awesome.
He started out great, but it was a long way and by the end I was holding his hand running with him. I was not prepared to run with him, and I won't lie I was tired afterward! He did awesome and finished 8th of 26 kids.

His favorite part was the medal and the treats at the end. He loves his medal and still wears it around.
They both did great and it was fun to watch them run!

Visitors

My sister Jennifer and her little boy Tyler came to Idaho for a visit and we had a great time. Another sister Marianne had a little girl right before Jen got there, so we decided to take a road trip down to Salt Lake to see them. Kaitlyn is adorable and her boy cousins can't wait to play with her. We had a great time playing in the pool at the hotel, hanging out at the playground in front of Marianne's house, and just being together.

After we got back from Salt Lake we had a great time just hanging out and having a good time together.

At a baseball game together, we didn't last very long, but it was fun.
Tyler and Luke playing together. They are only 3 days apart and both have really blond hair, so they could almost be twins. The only problem is Luke is huge and Tyler isn't!
This is how Grandpa makes friends, the community ice cream feed!

Aunt Rachel and the boys
All you need to entertain boys is a little dirt.

We had a great time with Jen and Tyler and were glad they could come and visit.

We Are Alive

We are having a great time in Idaho. The summer has flown and my brothers and sisters are back in school, so it just me and the boys again. We have had lots of fun, but of course I never take pictures. We have been camping, which was fun and quite the experience, Grandpa took the boys to the zoo, Marc moves pipe and rides the 4-wheeler all the time, and Matt went backpacking and also passed a huge test at school. We have certainly been busy. Life should settle down now and hopefully we can get some sort of routine down that doesn't involve Marc going to bed at 11! Here are a few pics that I have taken:
