One Man's Trash...

So in my spare time I have picked up a new hobby, dumpster diving. Yesterday I drove by the dumpster and saw something red and plastic, and I thought to myself, that looks like a toy. So I went over and looked and there was a red plastic table and two chairs. I have been wanting to get Marc a little table, so I was super excited. I was able to get the table and one chair out easily, but the other chair was a challenge. Anyone watching must have thought I was crazy. After trying to jump, reach, stretch, etc. I got a stick and fished out the chair. After a little Clorox bath Marc had a new table!!
The other day I was thinking that I needed to get another plastic bin to store stuff in and while Marc and I were on a walk I saw a great big bin (which looks brand new) behind one of the dumpster, so of course I grabbed it! I am going to have to start thinking of more things that I need!!

Marc currently loves to color, or play with crayons and rip paper. This is his response to me telling him we are not going to color right now, "Oh ya mom, I will just get it myself." I guess I need to do some rearranging in his closet.

Pictures

We went to the park to take some pictures of Marc, something that I have been trying to do for a while now, and I forgot to put the card in the camera. So we only got a few pictures, but it was a beautiful day to go to the park.

This was Matt's favorite "pose". Don't worry Matt is right below Marc and Marc was so scared he wasn't moving a muscle.

This pictures makes Marc look so grown up. It has been so nice outside and I have loved sending Marc out on the deck to play. The deck was certainly an answer to prayers that hadn't even been prayed yet!

Where is Marc?

I heard noise coming from the laundry room and I went in to see this:

I guess Marc found the ultimate hiding spot! Matt wanted to turn the dryer on, but I wouldn't let him.

I just got these letter for Marc and he loves them.
Marc has figured out how to scoot forward on his little "bike". He has only been able to go backwards until now.

The Slide

I came home from work one day to find our big table set up in the house, except it wasn't set up like it should normally be, it had become a slide. Marc loved it. First it was just a slide, then it became a way to transport objects really fast, and then it became a jungle gym. Marc has no fear and is always figuring out something new!!

Easter Fun

Marc and I decorated Easter eggs and had an egg hunt at playgroup. He did ok at dying eggs, but the egg didn't survive the process. He lost interest really quick, maybe next year will be better.
He really liked the egg hunt. He didn't know there was candy in the eggs for a while, but once he figured it out he went crazy and I had to hide it.

Marc waiting to get out and see what he got for Easter.

I think the only disappointment for Marc was there was no candy in the eggs. It certainly made it easier for mom!!!

What is going on?

So we looked out our porch and saw what looked like people fishing. We have a protected wetland right out of our house and there were two people fishing. The crazy thing is they were actually catching fish. Well if you consider little goldfish fish. They had a bucket and they were keeping the goldfish which were only about 6" big. They probably caught 20 fish in about 30 minutes. It was kinda crazy to see fishing in the middle of the city.

This bit of info is only being published because Matt is pressuring me to post it. That night we had people over and when they went to leave and everyone was putting on their shoes and we hear a,"What is this?" Well it was puke, and Marc had thrown up in the shoe. It didn't get on the floor at all, just in the shoe. You gotta love kids!!

Spring Break

Matt had a week off of school and we decided to take a little break. We went and stayed in a condo by Lake Couer D'Alene for a few days. I have decided that it's not a vacation if you take a toddler. Marc found everything he shouldn't, didn't sleep well, and turned off the TV every time we turned it on. We ended up coming home a day early, but did have fun while we were there.

He is cute even though he is a crazy kid.

Always into something.

Marc will do anything to get my phone.

Matt and Marc by the lake. While we were out walking Marc found rocks and kept putting them in his pockets. It was really cute.

We love our cute little Marc.
