Rockin and Rollin

Life at our house is anything but calm.  The boys are growing like crazy.  I looked at Marc the other day and couldn’t believe how big he is getting.  Luke is finally starting to talk!!!  Most of it is still just yelling, but there are words mixed in so we are excited.  John is now rolling to his tummy, eating rice cereal, and has his first tooth.  I love my boys!

Family Fun

We started off our fun with Matt’s brother Chad and his family visiting from Oregon.  With a houseful of six little boys we had a great time and spent lots of time at the park.

Next we made a trek to Kansas to visit Matt’s sister Traci and her family of girls.  We had a great time swimming, going to the zoo, riding horses and lighting fireworks.  The drive was definitely worth it!

Our next stop was Minnesota to visit another of Matt’s sisters and their family.  They had an awesome 4th of July party complete with a slip and slide and zip line.  My boys absolutely loved it and Marc keeps asking when we can go back to our cousins houses.  I’m not sure I’m ready to make the drive again just yet, but it was a great vacation and we loved spending time with our family.

To top the trip off we headed to Firth to be with my family. My brother and sister are both going on missions and went through the temple.  It was so fun to be with everyone and we had a great time.

Slow Down

Life seams to be going faster than I can handle these days. Luke turned two, but it kind got lost in all the craziness. Here he is eating his birthday brownies and showing off.

This little guy is growing like crazy. We have had a crazy month so far and here is a little recap: First off we moved again. This time we should be in the same town for longer than a few months! Matt got a job in Mountain Home and we are excited to finally have a job and a paycheck. My sister Abby stayed with us for a couple of weeks to help with the kids and packing and I couldn't have done it without her. The boys loved playing with her and had tons of fun. Moving was fairly painless and we have felt so welcome in our new ward. I am amazed at how kind everyone has been. We unpacked for four days and then we headed to Spokane for Matt's graduation. It was fun to go back and see some friends and see the changes that have happened in the last year. We stayed with some friends who were so kind to let us invade. The kids had a blast and Marc even found their pool. He was supposed to be dipping his toes in and I looked over to see his head in the pool!

Matt's parents also flew to Spokane to be there and we had fun together going on a hike, and to the park, and just being together. I was so grateful they were there, I couldn't have done it without them. By the time graduation rolled around the kids were so tired and they were not going to sit still for anyone. We ended up standing at the back and the second Matt walked across the stage we left. The problem was I forgot to get the keys from Matt, luckily there was a shuttle and we were able to find a park. Matt came a rescued us when he was finished. We tried to take some pictures and the park, but our camera has serious problems and this is the only picture that worked. It really sums up how the day went! After that we loaded up and drove back home. It was a whirlwind of a trip, but it was fun

John at 2 months

I really can't believe how fast time is flying. Our little guy is two months old already. Here is a little about him. He weight 12.5 pounds and is almost 24 inches long. He has started smiling and even giggles if we are lucky. He is becoming a better sleeper and isn't crying as much, which we are grateful for. We love John and are grateful to have him in our family. I realized I have never just taken a random picture of John, so I decided to do better and here are a few.
