Little Baby Harris

We are still deciding on a name for our new little boy, but sooner or later we will decide! He was born this morning (Feb 29) at 10:41. He weighed 8 lbs 5 oz and is 21 inches long. He looks a lot heavier than he is and has quite of bit of light brown hair. My first impression is that he looks more like Marc than Luke, but we will see. We came to the hospital at 3 this morning, and really didn't progress much until they broke my water at 8:45. Matt was at home with the boys for a bit and I strongly encouraged him to come back quickly because I wanted him here when I got an epidural and I wanted that epidural really bad. He got back to the hospital around 10 and they said well we are too late for an epidural we are having a baby now. I did get a shot of something wonderful that took the pain right away, and we had a baby very quickly after that. I am doing wonderful and am very grateful to have the baby on the outside of me. Right now the baby is in the NICU, his temperature is a little low and they are monitoring him so hopefully we get him back soon. Anyway we will post more pics when we get some more!

Shoshone Falls

We went and saw Shoshone Falls which is pretty awesome. I had never been there before and didn't know what to expect, but it was cool. It was rainy and cold, but it was still fun.
Yes this is me popping out of my coat, hoping this baby will come soon!

Where is Thumpkin?

Marc loves to sing. Here he is singing "Where is Thumpkin?" but he is saying all of them, for all of his fingers.

I love you

Marc has been obsessed with the "I love you" song on Barney, and Matt added a new twist that Marc loves. We sing this song several times a day, but Matt sings it much better than I do.

Gorgeous

The other day I went grocery shopping and had both boys with me, so it was a hectic crazy event. Marc wanted to ride in the front so Luke was in the basket part of the cart which he wasn't thrilled about. This arrangement made by my strong willed ( I'm using this description rather than some others!) child necessitated most of the groceries being on the bottom of the cart. I was walking out to the car and a couple of men were walking into the store when I heard one of them say something but I wasn't sure what was going on. I though he said something about being gorgeous, and I was certainly not feeling like that was a word to describe me. I figured he wasn't talking to me and just kept walking. Then he repeated what he had said and realized what he was saying, "You dropped your oranges." Sure enough my oranges had fallen off the bottom of the cart and were all over the road. So I went back and picked them up and laughed!

What's Up.

Well it's been awhile since I posted, so here is a brief catch-up. We are moved in and enjoying Twin Falls. Matt really likes working at the hospital. The end of school is getting near and I am so excited! The boys are growing up and changing so much. Marc is still as crazy as ever and Luke is certainly coming into his own. He had tubes put in his ears this week so hopefully that will help him talk. Our other little boy is trying to come a little earlier than he should, so we are hoping he will wait another couple of weeks. Here are a few pictures to sum up the last few months. Enjoy!

These crazy boys are starting to play together and it is so nice, even though they do tend to get into trouble often.








Matt took the boys outside to play. I heard a "help" coming from outside and went to see three very muddy boys. Apparently Matt tried to save Marc and Luke, who were both stuck in the mud, and in the process fell down too. At least they had fun!

Christmas

We had a great Christmas and are sad to be leaving family, but excited to get back to real life. We spent Christmas with my family, which means lots of noise and craziness. We had fun making cookies, acting out the nativity, eating lots of food, and just being crazy. The boys fit right in with all the chaos and will miss the constant attention and excitement. They loved opening all their presents and got way to many toys. Hopefully they will be entertained by them when we get home, because I can't fill the role of their aunts and uncles and its going to be a rough adjustment. We are grateful for the good year we had and know that we were blessed in so many ways. We are looking forward to another eventful year, and hope by the end we can really be settled down somewhere for an extended period of time! Here are a few pics to highlight our Christmas:
