Life is good

The weather is warming up here and we have been riding bikes a lot.  Marc has decided to try out a two wheeler without training wheels.  He isn’t there yet, and is not so sure about it, but one day he will get it!  Yesterday the boys played outside all day with some neighbor kids.  It was awesome!  By the end of the day they were dirty, tired, and sunburnt.  It was a great day!

Trip Home

A few weeks ago we went to visit my family.  My two other sisters with kids were there too and we had a great time. DSC01999DSC02007

The Circus comes to town

A small circus came to town so Matt took the older boys while I stayed home with cranky John who is teething.  It was in a small room in the civic center and there weren't any real circus animals, but the boys still had fun.

Some days I feel like I live in a circus.  Luke decided to put his pretzels in his ears.  Marc soon followed and they thought they were so funny!

Easter and April Fool’s Day

This year Easter was a little low key because we had only been in our house for 5 days.  We went to an Easter egg hunt in a field of snow.  The hunt lasted about three minutes but the boys loved it.  My camera was dead so I didn’t get any pictures.  I charged my camera and got a few pictures when the Easter bunny came.  We went to church to our new ward on Sunday only to find it wasn’t really our ward.  The boys were sick so I took them home so they didn’t spread the sickness.  It wasn’t a normal Easter, but it was still nice to go to church and to remember our Savior.

Last year I made a tricky dinner for Marc on April Fool’s so he requested another one this year.  It wasn’t quite as funny because they already knew my tricks, but it was still fun.  We had juice (jello) green beans (laffy taffy) french fries and ketchup (pound cake and frosting) and a cupcake (meatloaf with mashed potatoes).

March

March truly flew by.  Here is a little recap.DSC01853
Missing your nap for church is exhausting.

We enjoyed the nice weather with bikes rides and trips to the park.

I went and got ice cream with my great friends before I left.

These boys keep growing up and are awesome!

Boise

My Grandparents took us all to Boise for the High School Boys State Tournament to watch two of my cousins play.  We had a great time swimming and eating and even manage to make it through a few games.  It was a nice break before the moving fun started.

We also painted the basement and the bedrooms and one of the bathrooms.  We weren’t done with all our projects, so it was hard to leave the house “unfinished”, but I am proud of the work we put into the house and the difference we made.
